This is done every time a user creates a new record for an object. Here are the key points for using the increment field:  <\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Automatic incrementation<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The increment field automatically calculates a <\/span><b>consecutive value<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">which is added when a new data record is created. This value increases by a fixed amount (usually 1) each time a new data record is created. <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Dependence on other fields<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can set the incrementation in <\/span><b>depending on other fields<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">  control.
