New update available (July 2023)

A new update (version 23/07) is now available. The update contains the following functional and technical and improvements:

  • A history of stock movements is stored in the database and can be accessed via the menu
  • Creation of templates for uniform naming of cases (patients etc.) and samples
  • Aliquots can be linked to higher-level aliquots (e.g., for cell lines)
  • Display of relationships between cases, samples and aliquots as a tree
  • Auto-increment field are now available in addition to the previous field types for configuring individual input masks.
  • Possibility to lock individual samples so that they cannot be checked out.
  • New report: “Form Z” e.g. relevant for genetically modified organisms (on request).
  • Individual samples can now be released to one or more external laboratories.
  • Updated interface for the DP5 Mirage Rack Scanner from Ziath (https://ziath.com/products/barcode-scanning/dp5-mirage-rack-reader).
  • SQL statement is now executed via DBAL
  • Added support for PostgreSQL
  • Minor improvements and bug fixes.
