On the subject

Cyber attacks are a real threat for all companies and especially companies that handle patient data and other critical information. In addition to defending against cyber attacks through suitable security measures not only in the IT infrastructure, insurance companies protect against large financial expenses after a cyber attack has taken place despite all protective measures. At our 3rd event of the BioRiver working group IT, the insurance law aspects of cyber security are the topic of the two lectures.
In terms of content, in addition to an insight into the cyber risks for companies, there will be compliance obligations in the areas of data protection and IT security, which are relevant with a view to any manager liability. It also shows which insurance solutions are available to protect against cyber risks.
