17:20 Closing round on IT questions and problems from the everyday work of the participants

On the subject:

In the next 15 years, the number of employed Germans will fall by 11 percent. At the same time, the requirements for the qualification of specialists in the life sciences are increasing. The current health crisis is also forcing a fundamental change in the way we work. Digital technologies such as augmented reality (AR) enable new ways of collaboration, communication and knowledge sharing in everyday work. Using case studies from the pharmaceutical industry, this article shows how implicit knowledge about complex processes can be collected and standardized:

Find out how Boehringer Ingelheim uses AR to standardize processes in the sterile filling of combination products, thereby significantly reducing the number of deviations.

With a similar approach, Fresenius Kabi was able to significantly simplify the onboarding of new employees in production.

Vifor Pharma, on the other hand, relies on various AR technologies to always provide its employees with the most important information in different situations, and can thus significantly increase profitability.

Speaker:

Markus Meier heads the sales and project management departments at Goodly Innovations, a leading provider of augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) solutions for the life science industry. Previously, as Director of Life Sciences at PTC, he developed numerous successful lighthouse projects for augmented reality and the Internet of Things in leading life sciences companies. Markus Meier holds a master’s degree in engineering and a master’s degree in international business.
