Integration & Connectivity: When laboratory software becomes part of the infrastructure

20. May 2026

Digital laboratory environments rarely consist of a single system. Scanners, printers, analysis devices and existing databases must interact with each other so that processes run efficiently and error-free.

BioARCHIVE was therefore deliberately designed for integration and supports various connection options:

Data transfer of existing stocks

Existing databases can be imported in a structured manner via CSV interfaces. This means that existing inventories can be transferred without the need for manual re-entry.

Device integration

The platform supports the integration of various hardware components, including:

  • Scanner solutions from LVL Technologies and Ziath
  • Single barcode reader
  • Label printer

Additional devices can be integrated on a project-specific basis.

Individual interfaces

Customized data interfaces can be implemented for specific requirements in order to embed BioARCHIVE in existing IT environments.
