Tasks & monitoring

When working with different people, especially across multiple sites, a way to communicate with each other is essential to avoid confusion and unnecessary work. Therefore, BioARCHIVE includes a query system that allows you to ask questions about specific data. Several messages can be added to a query and the system visualizes whether the corresponding task has already been completed or not.

Display and create tasks for entire projects and individual data fields

You can view existing queries and create new ones for each project tab for each case or sample. Simply click on the comment icon next to the case or topic number. If you have a more specific question, you can also create queries for each individual field. For this purpose, there is a small comment icon to the right of each input element.

A window appears that displays any existing messages and serves as a form for creating a new message or a reply. If a query exists, it is also possible to switch the completed status.

Note that if you are friends with other labs or workgroups, you can also send requests to their data and exchange messages with them.
