Check-In – Express

Express check-in allows you to store multiple aliquots quickly and easily.

  • Select employee:
    First select the employee responsible.

  • Find sample:
    Use the search function to select the desired sample.

  • Specify number:
    Specify how many aliquots you want to check in for this sample.

  • Select storage location:
    Determine the desired storage location.
    The corresponding box opens – already occupied positions are marked with a tick.
    Click on a free position – a “+” appears to confirm.

  • Enter aliquot type & number:
    Click on “Next”.
    Now select the appropriate aliquot type and assign an aliquot number.
    Click on “Save”.

  • Add further aliquots:
    Repeat the process for each additional aliquot by entering and saving a new number.
    The aliquots entered appear on the left in the overview.

  • Complete:
    When you are finished, click on “Finish” – the check-in is now complete.

 

Re-Check-In:

An aliquot that was previously checked out can be checked back into the system in just a few steps – similar to express check-in.
The process is almost identical, with one additional step:

  • Enter the amount of liquid:
    Enter the remaining amount of liquid in the field provided.
